Lynette grew up in Owatonna, Minnesota, and started her career at Josten’s when she was sixteen.

Moving to Minneapolis she honed her illustration sills working in publishing and newspaper companies such as Llewellyn Publications and Minneapolis Star and Tribune.

Started Garden Studio in 1982, and moved to Duluth. She became more diversified and offered painting and sculpting to her repertoire. Her main clientele included companies such as Lenox China, Goebel, and Hamilton as giftware designer but she also sold her originals and continued to illustrate for publishers.

Moved back to the twin cities and married Michael.
Moved back to Owatonna to complete a circle.
